Trying to make a come back...

I started writing this blog for one main reason. In the future, when my daughter or son asks me how I experienced life I wanted to be able to show them how! I wanted them to understand how travel changed my life. But just like a lot of other things, I stopped writing these posts at some point. I was either partying too much or working too much or just doing nothing and didn't want to pick up that laptop and write. I found some reason or the other not to write. Thankfully, my laziness did not stop me from traveling. So I do have a lot of places to write about. For that matter, the last couple of years has been the maximum that I have travelled.

So why am I trying to pick up writing again now?

In 2017, the person for whom I had initially started writing for, arrived. Her name is Arya, my baby girl. I want to travel this world with her and travel to the places we had been to before and explore the new ones and make new memories with her. So all the more reason why I should stop giving excuses for not writing and pick up from where I left!

In 2016, we ended up doing a lot of travel. I mean, a LOT of travel. Many were weekend trips. At one point during the summer, we were at the airport literally every friday night. My parents had visited for a few weeks followed by Sanjay's parents and we wanted to show them Europe and we did just that. This post is just a way for me to start writing again and a check list of the places I need to write about.

So the list goes as follows:

  • Amsterdam
  • Barcelona
  • Boston
  • Canary Islands
  • Lisbon
  • Berlin
  • Trondheim
  • Prague
  • Paris
  • Bavaria
  • Bergen
  • India trip (home)
  • Virserum

First year in Copenhagen

I completed one year in Copenhagen and I must say that these past 12 months have been quite LEGENDARY :)

Travel accomplishments in this one year:
  • Iceland adventures
  • Road trip to Stockholm/Vaxholm
  • Hamburg
  • Kitzbuhel
  • Barcelona
  • Lanzarote, Canary Islands
  • Amsterdam and The Hague
  • Lisbon and Caiscais
No, haven't updated my blog for a long time now... I am hoping that the photographs I took would help me re-live the moments and help me write the blog whenever that is going to be :)
